This is right in the Periyar Tigerr reserve and this is a real unique place as it built to be eco friendly. The cottages while being extra comfortable are built using local materials used by the tribals of the forest. In fact, the entire resort tries to mimic the tribal village.
It is a great experience and a stay there is rejuvenating. Modern pollutants like TV are not available and that is a blessing. Hotel serves delicious local food.
You will enjoy this place if you are into Rain Forest Treks and wildlife safaris. If you want only creature comforts, then bamboo grove lodge at Thekkady is not for you.
