Waterscapes at Kumarakom is a must visit property of KTDC. We hired the house boat from Allepey at around noon and the houseboat leisurely dropped us at Kumarakom next morning at around eight. The houseboat experience was awesome to say the least.

Resort complex consists of individual cottages. They have tried to maintain a Kerala feel to the cottages with false ceiling and dark brown decor. Rooms are pretty spacious and well furnished.

The one thing I enjoyed in this place were the early morning breakfast. Ask for Keerai vada, they were excellent!

The service quality can be improved as the room boys do not come to the cottages as they are a bit away from the office complex.

Food is yummy
