Great Views, Clean Room Reviewed by naren, 2007-08-04 It makes sense to stay at Lal Ghat area in Udaipur and Poonam Haveli has one of the best location at Udaipur. The hotel is popular with westerners as Udaipur is a must visit destination for foreigners coming to India. Film Octopussy was shot in Udapur and the exotic locales shown has made Udaipur quite popular. The rooms at Poonam Haveli are clean and so are the bathrooms. The staff could be more polite.
