I frequent Shimla as weekend getaway from Delhi. I must have stayed in all popular resorts. I started with most expensive and then I started scouting for budget options. Spars was a reelation. It is more a like a homestay you see in Coorg, Karnataka. Family run accommodation that is easy on the pocket. Trust me, best way to enjoy Shimla is to explore the natural beauty and a great room decor is not going to help.
