Though an adman, I fell for the good copy at the website. So impressed with what I read I got my family from Delhi and told my young daughter that stay at Veerabhoomi will expose her to royal Kodagu culture .
After the experience at veerabhoomi, I hide from my daughter and have stopped boasting about my roots. The website says resort offers Royal treatment reserved for the maharajahs . I pity Mysore Maharajahs. Did they actually have patience to wait for full full one hour after ordering some snacks (This is one instance of royal service at Veerabhoomi). Agreed, the Maharajah travelled on elephants - but I am sure even the elephants would have found the road to Veerabhoomi a bit tiring.
Lastly, the much hyped show that resort organises is good...extremely good. It will test your patience and endurance capability
