Peach Blossom is one of the finest hotels that I have been to of late. Himachal in itself is a great tourist destination and Peach blossom makes it even better.

It is at Fagu, 20 Kms from Shimla. The hotel is always in demand and I had to book nearly 40 days in advance thru a mumbai based travel agent making bookings on behalf of HPTDC.

The location of peach blossom is unbeatable as it provides unhindered view of the mountains. The rooms are luxurious for the tariff that they charge. All in all I was lucky as my Himachal trip was enjoyable and Peach blossom did add to the enjoyment

Last december, I had benn to Shimla from Delhi. I took the toy train from Kalka and stayed at Peach Blossom at Fagu. Why did I select Peach Blossom?
1. It is not in Shimla, my friends had warned that Shimla is crowded and dirty. So wanted to avoid and Fagu is just 20 Kms from Shimla. SO best of both worlds
2. I could book online at the HPTDC site which is a great advantage
3. It was Govt site - I was expecting minimal service but I would be assured that I will not be conned
Reality : Great Decision - Even service level at Peach Blossom is great.
My Tips:
1. Avoid the toy train. After the first half hour it tends to get boring as it crawls and halts too often. When the views start - you no longer appreciate them. Take a bus from Delhi - Saves time
