Ramgarh Experience

My husband and I were fed up of the monotonous daily routine. We wanted to break free from the city life and rest in peaceful environment away from the madding crowd. It was then decided to make a trip to Ramgarh and we soon set off to an 8-hour journey to rejuvenate our souls.

We soon reached the secluded hill station and checked in one of the lodges, Himalayan View Retreat. The fresh air flowing through the window took away with it, my tiredness and I felt energized like never before. After resting for a while, we sojourned to explore the peace and tranquility in the lap of Himalayas.

An unobstructed view of the snow-capped ranges, breathtaking sights of Nanda Devi and Trishul peaks of Himalayas, a trek into the mountains, a visit to orchards and meandering in the dense forests relieved our mind, body and soul. We never realised how the three days went off so quick. And it was the time to confront the same noisy city. And when I am here in the struggling metro again, I become nostalgic and wonder how nature can display all its beauty and charm at the same place.
