We’ve been to Kerala before, and stayed at a couple of the higher rated hotels but for the time we spent at Varkala; we felt our stay at Private Homes very good. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Altogether for the price we had paid for the holiday, it was great. The rooms had a cute Kerala feel, and so was the reception. Also they arranged us a short trip out to Trivandrum and that was so well organized. My wife adored its beautiful location; just facing the picturesque beach.

No wonder, private homes can captivate anyone.

I have been to Varkala Beach in Feb2007, I stayed with Mom Lekha's Private Homes for many days. The property is very neat, very close to the beach, professionally run, good service, friendly and comfortable. Highly recommended place

Had a wonderful stay at Mom Lekha’s Private Homes. Really a lovely place – They helped us organise a great backwater boat trip and a driver to Munnar.
Its the perfect place to relax and kick back. Shady verandas, amazing breakfasts.... light bright rooms, simply but beautifully decorated with wood. I had planned for 2 weeks holiday in India, Varkala & Goa. But Varkala is a great place to stay and the best place to settle down is Mom Lekha’s …..so here we go
