Mumbai to Goa Roadmap
There are two routes to reach Goa from Mumbai:
- The scenic one on NH17 via Chiplun
- Quicker and safer route on NH4 via Kolhapur
We have provided detailed road map for both routes. Going by current road conditions we would suggest reaching Goa via Pune - Kolhapur on NH4

- Via Chiplun on NH17
- Via Pune,Kolhapur on NH4.
The lush greenery and the many twists and turns makes the drive very interesting. However, It is a two lane highway with roads of average quality.

NH4 route (Via Pune - Kolhapur): Distance : 627 Kms
For most part of the journey, one gets to drive on NH4 - the well maintained 4 lane highway. For only 160 odd Kms, one needs to travel thru' the state highway.
