Goa - Baga Beach Hotels
Baga Beach
Till mid eighties, Baga beach was contended to be a sleepy fishing hamlet with popular Calangute and Anjuna beach as it neighbors. The calm and anonymity associated with Baga beach disappeared when Goa became popular with charter tourists in nineties. The charter tourists, so called as they arrive to Goa by chartered plane, took to Baga beach as the earlier generation of flower tourists took to Anjuna beach
Baga beach presents a pretty picture and tends to be crowded during the peak season.More than its beach, Baga is famous for its humming nightlife and raucous club scene. The credit for making Baga as the hottest of all nightlife spots in India goes to Tito’s – probably the most famous of all Indian night clubs.
