A Houseboat cruise (kettuvallam) along the backwaters of Kerala is a must- do. Pristine beaches of Goa - Kovalam, Varkala and Poovar beaches are popular. Kerala's other treasure is the popular hillstation Munnar. Wayanad district is famous for its dense forests and is a popular weekend getaway from Bangalore.
