One of my friends from south suggested Munnar and Club mahindra resort for our honeymoon. Club mahindra resort was way beyond what I thought I should spend on room tariff.
So I went by what others told me as the next best thing - Eastend, Munnar
The rooms at Edassery eastend,Munnar are fine, in fact excellent. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Lawn is pretty.They deck up the resort at night and that is pretty interesting sight with all the bulbs and so on.
The hotel is right in the centre of town which is great for most but again it does not give you the right ambiance for honeymoon. Not that romantic location!
My suggestion: There are various buildings within the complex and you can opt for the quieter ones.

Before I went there , I was worried if the hotel was demolished as lot of Munnar Hotels were demolished according to a reort- No it is right there

Overall - A great stay option. Hotel can improve the food quality
