Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradesh is often referred to as heart of India and that is not just because of its geographical orientation that makes it almost the center of India, but also the rich cultural heritage of Madhya Pradesh that dates back to ancient times.

It comes as no surprise that Madhya Pradesh has a diverse array of tourist attraction. Attractions range from historical temples, forts, palaces to wildlife sanctuaries that boast high density of tigers in whole of India. Khajuraho is easily the most popular destination in Madhya Pradesh. Other must visit destination in Madhya Pradesh include palace town of Orchha , Tiger sanctuaries in Kanha, Panna and Bhandavgarh. Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh’s highest hill station, has luckily managed to escape reckless plunder suffered by other hill stations of India. Ujjain also has some of the most revered spiritual destinations including Ujjain, one of the most important pilgrimage centre for Hindus and Sanchi, known for its Stupas, monasteries, temples and pillars

Tourism infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh is not yet fully developed and hence the state witnesses minimal tourist traffic that does no justice to the tourism potential of Madhya Pradesh
