Ooty is the most famous of all hill stations in South India and attracts most number of tourists. As with many popular Indian tourist destinations, town planning is conspicuous by its absence. Before accepting any bargain, make sure that the resort has a fireplace or a room heater as Ooty can get quite cold during winters.
