Resorts at Ooty
Ooty is the most famous of all hill stations in South India and attracts most number of tourists. As with many popular Indian tourist destinations, town planning is conspicuous by its absence. Lack of planning has led to haphazard development, which has taken sheen off Ooty. During summers, tourists turn up in large numbers. Ooty begins to resemble a booming Indian town and not an idyllic hill station.

Before accepting any bargain, make sure that the resort has a fireplace or a room heater as Ooty can get quite cold during winters.
