Mantralaya houses the original brindavana of the great Vaishnava saint Guru Sri Raghavendra. Saint Raghavendra entered "Jeeva Samadhi" in the year 1671 at Mantralaya. Hundreds of devotees visit Mantralaya everyday.

Mantralayam road to Mantralayam
Mantralayam is easily accessible by train as it on the Chennai /Bangalore – Mumbai line. Almost all train stops at Mantralayam Road station which is just 12 Kms from the Mutt. There are shared rickshaws available from Mantralayam Road railway station to Raghavendra Mutt. Rickshaws run almost all thru' the day. Apart from the rickshaws, there are APSRTC buses which run every half an hour
Accommodation at Mantralaya

provides good well maintained rooms at very
nominal cost. However, you cannot make a booking in advance for most of
these rooms unless you
are a donor. That said, most pilgrims do find an accommodation, though
the rush is heavy during long weekends and during Raghavendra Swamy Aradhana

Near Mantralaya :
Panchamukhi temple near Mantralaya is a must visit. Autorickshaws ply between Mantralaya and Panchamukhi temple. Venkateshawara temple near the mutt and Alampur are near by attractions. Navabrindavana and Hampi are other destinations near Mantralaya.
